Shattered: Contemporary Sculpture in Glass

Frederik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park will be hosting an invitational exhibition around the medium of glass in sculptural form. The exhibition explores the depth and dimension of sculpture by artists working in glass. A sculptural entity in its own right, contemporary glass is marked by creative, conceptual and formal explorations in keeping with the dynamic persona of contemporary art at large. Gathering together artists from across the globe, this exhibition breaks down preconceptions about glass art, shattering traditional boundaries for an understanding of sculpture as well. As a result, this presentation offers a global panorama of contemporary glass. This exhibition is organized in partnership with Habatat Gallery.
