Add event to my calendar

Spend a lunch hour learning about the latest in art and design during these Friday lectures. Each lecture features a variety of artists and designers from around the world, including CIA faculty and visiting artists.

CIA's history began before the founding of the Cleveland Museum of Art. But for over 100 years, our institutions have enjoyed a dynamic and often collaborative relationship. This amazing visual presentation will spotlight the diverse artworks in the Museum's collection that have a connection to an artist or designer from CIA--including both iconic, world-famous artworks and surprising little-known treasures Dr. Bassett's research has (re)discovered. The history of our college of art and design includes many intriguing stories and a compelling diversity of accomplishment. Attend this lecture, and then spread the word about the new CIA-themed ArtLens tour at CMA.

This event is free and open to the public. Pizza and beverages will be provided. Click here to read more about the Lunch on Fridays series.
