Julie Langsam is currently an associate professor at Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University. She is a former associate professor at the Cleveland Institute of Art and was head of the Painting Department from 2007-09. Her artistic practice involves the development of Modernism and post-Modernism seen through abstraction, architecture, and romanticism. Julie Langsam has had many exhibitions in New York and Cleveland, including a solo show at MOCA. Her other activities include curatorial work for previous exhibitions such as It's a Wonderful Life: Psychodrama in Contemporary Painting and The Big Bang at SPACES, as well as Color as Structure at the Frederieke Taylor Gallery in New York.

This event is free and open to the public. Pizza and beverages will be provided.
