New Artifacts: Works by Brent Kee Young and Sungsoo Kim

CIA sponsors opening reception of exhibition at Akron Art Museum.
New Artifacts pairs works by Cleveland Institute of Art professor and department head Brent Kee Young with works by Sungsoo Kim, an adjunct professor at Cleveland Institute of Art and Kent State University. While Young and Kim employ diverging glassmaking techniques, they share an interest in rediscovering familiar forms, both classical and ordinary, which results in timeless works of intrigue.
