    The Continuing Education and Community Outreach program offers a rigorous approach to visual arts education, unique course content, and access to high quality faculty and facilities in a dynamic learning environment. Continuing Education welcomes diverse communities, including young artists, art professionals and business professionals, and offers them opportunities to be challenged creatively, learn new skills and enhance their expertise.

    Pre-College Program

    What are you doing next summer?

    CIA's annual summer Pre-College Program is open to all students who will be entering their sophomore, junior, or senior year of high school.  This two week long residential program is designed to reflect the life of an art student attending an art school to obtain their Bachelor's of Art degree.  Student's who successfully complete this program earn three undergraduate credits from the Cleveland Institute of Art.

    Since its start in 1927, the Scholastic Art + Writing Awards have acted as a venue for the community to view the exceptional artwork of public, private, parochial, and home-schooled students between the 7th & 12th grades.
