Continuing Education . Overview

Continuing Education + Community

CIA’s Continuing Education and Community Outreach program offers dynamic art and design classes through unique course content and access to high quality faculty and facilities. Each semester we serve adults and students in grades 5-12 by helping each individual learn new techniques or improve existing skills. Educators can take workshops or classes and earn CEUs for each studio hour.

Our courses take place at the Cleveland Institute of Art. Our 2018 spring catalog will be available in November, check back for updates.

Our classes explore areas of art and design, including:

Mark your calendars!

  • Adult classes beginning the week of February 5 (Registration opens in November and ends January 22)
  • Young Artists classes start February 10 (Registration opens in November and ends January 22)
  • Life Drawing runs August 30 - November 15 (No registration required, pay at the door)
  • Next Teacher Workshops will be Saturday, April 21
