Continuing Education . Overview

Continuing Education + Community

CIA’s Continuing Education and Community Outreach (CECO) program offers dynamic art and design classes through unique course content and access to high quality faculty and facilities. Each semester we serve all age groups by helping each student learn new skills or improve on existing skills.

Our courses take place on Cleveland’s east side at the campus of Cleveland Institute of Art. Look for the fall 2016 catalog online in August. Register at

  • Adult classes beginning the week of September 19 (Registration deadline: Monday, September 12)
  • Young Artists classes start September 24, no class October 22 (Registration deadline: Tuesday, September 6)
  • Life Drawing ends August 10 (No registration required, pay at the door)
  • Spring BASIC/Teacher Workshops will be Saturday, October 22 (Registration deadline: Monday, October 10)
