Michael Lehto

Michael Lehto works at the juncture of art, science, and technology, focusing on issues of sustainability and the environment. For the past ten years, Michael has operated as a multimedia programmer, designer, and artist, working with a diverse set of regional and national institutions. He has also collaborated with a number of socially-based and non-profit organizations and artists. In 2007 and 2011, he was a featured artist at the Cleveland Ingenuity Festival of Art and Technology.

Michael has served as adjunct faculty and student advisor at the Cleveland Institute of Art off and on since 2007, where he has taught courses in Information Design, and Web Programming & Design.

Currently, he serves as a Director of Creative Engineering at Rosetta, an international interactive marketing agency. Prior to his time as at Rosetta, he worked for a variety of high-tech institutions, including the European Aeronautic Defense and Space Company and a six-year tenure at NASA. He holds advanced degrees in Mathematics, Computer Science, German, and a Master of Fine Art in Digital Art.
