We begin our series of restored Laurel & Hardy comedies with the duo’s most celebrated feature—and their personal favorite! Stan & Ollie journey to Brushwood Gulch to deliver the deed for a gold mine to the daughter of a dead prospector. But they are duped by a dastardly saloonkeeper (James Finlayson), who gets his girlfriend to pose as the heiress. This classic features Stan & Ollie’s charming dance number “At the Ball, That’s All.” Cleveland revival premiere. DCP. 65 min.
