Shirley Temple and Bill “Bojangles” Robinson perform their famous staircase dance in this beloved family classic, one of the best films by the phenomenal child star who later entered politics. The film is a post-Civil War drama set in the Reconstruction-era South, about a family patriarch (Lionel Barrymore) who disowns his southern belle daughter when she marries a northerner. 35mm print from the Twentieth Century Fox studio archive! 81 min.
