Wim Wenders’ masterful road movie stars Rüdiger Vogler as a traveling motion picture projector repairman who meets up one day with a bereft child psychologist (Hans Zischler) who has wrecked his car. Together they traverse rural West Germany along the East German border, trying to find themselves amid the cultural desolation.
