The German Doctor

Argentina’s submission for this year’s Oscar for Best Foreign Language Film is a historical thriller set in 1960 Patagonia, where notorious Nazi death camp doctor Josef Mengele hides out in a hotel run by a German couple and befriends their 12-year-old daughter. “A true-life horror story about the helpful, soft-spoken monster in our midst.” – Bob Mondello, NPR.
