Wim Wenders (Wings of Desire, The Buena Vista Social Club) celebrates the groundbreaking work of his friend and fellow German, legendary dancer and choreographer Pina Bausch (1940-2009). This Oscar-nominated movie captures Bausch and members of her company performing some of her most celebrated works both on stage and around the German city of Wuppertal, home of Bausch’s dance theatre since 1972.
