Cinematheque . Directions
Through July 30, 2015, the Cleveland Institute of Art Cinematheque presents movies in CIA’s Russell B. Aitken Auditorium within CIA’s George Gund Building at the corner of East Boulevard and Bellflower Road in University Circle. Free, lighted parking is available in the adjacent CIA lot, located on the north and east sides of the building. Enter the building through the rear door, just off the parking lot and only steps from your car. Smoking is not permitted in the Institute. Our facilities are fully accessible to the physically challenged.
Starting August 1, 2015, the Cinematheque will present films in CIA’s new Peter B. Lewis Theater, within its new George Gund Building at 11610 Euclid Avenue in Cleveland. CIA's new unified campus has three lots, and all of them are accessed from E. 117th Street. Cinematheque patrons should use Lot 73, located in the rear of the complex and encompassing the CIA loading dock. It’s the closest lot to the Cinematheque entrance. But if it is full, there is an annex lot on the other side of E. 117th along the railroad tracks. Both of these lots are gated, but in August the gates to the rear lot (73) and the annex lot will be open for Cinematheque patrons. Parking is free. Smoking is not permitted in the Institute. Our facilities are fully accessible to the physically challenged.
