WATERMARK is visually stunning new doc from makers of "Manufactured Landscapes" WATERMARK is the new film from filmmaker Jennifer Baichwal and photographer Edward Burtynsky, the duo that collaborated on the extraordinary 2006 documentary Manufactured Landscapes. Their new movie should be of particular interest to those of us who live near the Great Lakes. Watermark finds Baichwal and Burtynsky traversing the globe to document humanity’s relationship with water: how we are drawn to it, what we learn from it, how we use it, and the consequences of that use. The Village Voice says that the film is "filled with images both beautiful and wrenching.” Don't miss it on Friday or Saturday. Print this email and present it at the box office and see Watermark for only $7 ($6 if you're a Cinematheque member). It's our Deal of the Week! (Limit two discount admissions per print-out) Watch the film's trailer here.
