Everyone knows about, the website where the students can follow their courses and the teacher can instruct their pupils. This website is very interactive but what if you are just trying to find out more about the different majors, the school, and events held by the school? All this information can be found at The Cleveland Institute of Art offers several majors.

  • Animation

  • Biomedical Art

  • Ceramics

  • Drawing

  • Game Design

  • Glass

  • Graphic Design

  • Illustration

  • Industrial Design

  • Interior Architecture

  • Jewelry and Metals

  • Painting

  • Photography and Video

  • Printmaking

  • Sculpture and Expanded Media

Today, I am going to start a series of blogs that discusses each different major, their digital and non-digital processes, and what the major is about. While I have been a student in this institute, I have discovered that students don’t know about all the majors and those who find they want to be in one specific major do not bother to look at any other majors.

When I was a freshman I was considering Graphic Design or Illustration, leaning more to Graphic Design because it would make me more in demand after graduation than illustration would have, that was 2015. It was the Spring Showcase of 2016 when I found out more about interior architecture and when I discovered that that was the major I was meant to be in. At this point, there was no other major I wanted to be in.
