Blog . Garageband is Free with iOS 7!
With the new iOS 7 comes a new look and design. You can arrange more tracks than you previously could, and you can use airdrop to drop sounds right into the composition!
This app comes with 10 different ways to record audio. You can even create a Jam session with those around you who have the app in order to make a collaborative piece! You can play the instrument like you would normally with the ipad's keyboard.
Record what you play live, or you can go in and edit each individual chord and note. There are also smart instruments where you can go in and play around with various loops and decide how complex or simple, loud or quiet you want the loops to be!
The Sampler allows you to be able to import the audio you airdrop into the app. You can play around with the audio and even take a little bit of a clip to make your own unique sound. The GarageBand app is a useful tool for making simple audio tracks and is also highly portable.
It is available for iPad, iPhone, and iPod touch. The Jam session feature adds a new level of collaboration to the realm of digital music-making. Not to mention this app is now completely free, so go on and pick up this amazing audio tool!
