SearchOHIO

02/26/13  |  Posted by Library Staff  |  Posted in Library

What is SearchOHIO? It is a state wide consortium of public libraries, which serves as a companion to OhioLINK. In the past, a search in OhioLINK would include results from many large public libraries, such as Cuyahoga County Public Library. Now, to see items held by the public libraries, you need to continue your searching in SearchOHIO.

How do you find something? We always recommend starting in our local catalog. Submit your search and then click on the Search OhioLINK button at the top of the page. On the OhioLINK results page, there will be a SearchOHIO button at the top. Click on it to see results from the public libraries.

How do I borrow the item? Submit your request in the same way you borrow from OhioLINK, and the item will be delivered to the CIA Library for you to pick up.

Why do I need to know about SearchOHIO? The public libraries are great for borrowing popular fiction, DVDs, CDs, self-help and do-it-yourself books, and recipe books.

Need some help? Come to the library and we will be happy to help you!
