iPad Morse Code

#CPHsignals - Send Morse code signals through Twitter. from markus schmeiduch on Vimeo. Markus Schmeiduch created #CPHsignals as a way to connect two Copenhagen neighborhoods separated by the harbor using iPads, morse code, and Twitter. He collaborated with Ana Catharina Marques and Kostantinos Frantzis to build two SignalLamp stations where passersby can type their message and Arduino will translate the text into morse code using the old-fashioned lamps. Not only can the two neighborhoods interact, but Twitter users anywhere can send a message by an @reply to the signal lamps and the message will be displayed on the iPads.
