Cinematheque 5/29-31: Katyn, Slap Shot & More!

KATYN, showing Friday and Saturday, marks a stunning return to form for Poland's pre-eminent filmmaker Andrzej Wajda. Wajda, who is now 83, directed his first feature over 55 years ago and is especially celebrated for his muscular historical epics. Joaquin Phoenix may be a goofball on late-night talk shows, but he really can act. And he's never been better than he is as an unstable loner torn between two different women in James Gray's brooding love story TWO LOVERS, showing Saturday night. George Roy Hill directed three of Paul Newman's most celebrated and beloved movies: "Butch Cassidy" (showing next weekend), "The Sting," and SLAP SHOT, showing Friday and Sunday in a new 35mm color print. You have only two more chances to catch a movie by Hungary's remarkable, singular master filmmaker Miklos Jancso. SILENCE AND CRY, showing Saturday and Sunday.

Hello, can someone tell me where I can get (rent-view) the new 35mm color print copy of the movie Slap Shot. Would like to show it for a charity event. We work with the Hanson Brothers. Someone please help! Thank you!
