Richard Newman
Richard Newman '60 (Diploma) is a graduate of the Cleveland Institute of Art, Cranbrook Academy of Art (BFA) and Cornell University (MFA). He holds the Professor Emeritus title from Bradford College in Massachusetts where he taught for 34 years and held the Kopf Chair in Art History and Theory from 1992-1999.
His work in mixedmedia sculpture and collage has been exhibited in over 150 museum and gallery exhibitions in 35 states as well as Europe. It has been featured in numerous magazines and books on art including "Who's Who in American Art" since 1987. He lives in Haverhill, Massachusetts with his artist/author wife Rochelle and their airedale, MacDuffy.
