Elinore M. Korow

Born in Akron Elinore Korow (then known as Elinore Vigh), by the age of four she was drawing constantly. At seven she was inspired by portrait artist Thomas Gainsborough and held onto the dream of becoming a portrait artist. While at CIA she studied under renowned artist, Rolf Stoll. Her initial goal as early as 1966 was to be Cleveland's best portrait artist. Within three years she was nationally known. She worked for American Greetings and then established her own business in Shaker Heights: Elinore Korow Portraits. She has done executive, boardroom, private and family portraits for over thirty years.
