Elinore M. Korow
Born in Akron Elinore
Korow (then known as Elinore Vigh), by the age of four
she was drawing constantly. At seven she was inspired by portrait
artist Thomas Gainsborough and held onto the dream of becoming
a portrait artist. While at CIA she studied under renowned artist,
Rolf Stoll. Her initial goal as early as 1966 was to be Cleveland's
best portrait artist. Within three years she was nationally known.
She worked for American Greetings and then established her own
business in Shaker Heights: Elinore Korow Portraits. She has done
executive, boardroom, private and family portraits for over thirty
years.
