Ann Rea

Ann Rea '87 has turned the Wine Country’s majestic scenery into equally splendid canvases. Rea has created the perfect pairing by working with wineries such as R.H. Phillips, Gloria Ferrer, Wente, Louis M. Martini, and Markham Vineyards. The winemakers introduce Rea to their wines and vines, and then Rea goes afield among the grapes. There, she puts her vibrant oils to work.

Ann is an instructor of art educators with The California Arts Project. Internationally renowned artists Wayne Thiebaud and Gregory Kondos commend her. Ann’s paintings have been exhibited in galleries throughout California, Santa Fe, New Mexico, and France.

She is regularly commissioned for private and corporate collections. A collection of her California vineyard paintings will be published in late 2006.
