Photo I: Mechanics of Digital + Darkroom Photography
This class will cover the fundamentals of film and digital 35mm SLR cameras, optics, exposure ratio, black and white film processing and basic silver and digital printing techniques. Lectures address black and white darkroom processes, digital workflow, file archiving, and output for various applications. Introductory lighting tools and documentation of artwork for professional applications is covered. Required for Sophomore Photography majors. Open Studio Elective.
