Larry O’Neal is a graphic designer/illustrator with a unique professional history that allows him to provide his students with a unique look at the graphic design field. Prior to joining the faculty at CIA 4 years ago, Larry spent the majority of his career working in regional ad agencies such as Carr-Liggett (now Liggett-Stashower), Wyse Advertising and Stern Advertising. At Stern (a former subsidiary of TBWA Worldwide Inc.), he served 14 years as Executive Vice President / Executive Creative Director. In addition to supervising a creative staff of 24, he served on the Executive Committee and headed the New Business Task Force. In addition to teaching at CIA, he operates a graphic design firm in Chagrin Falls, OH.

Gene is a professor in the Graphic Design Department at CIA and has taught here since 1966 in Graphic Design and Typography. He has received several awards including the AIGA 50 Books of the Year, Exhibited in the Cleveland Society of Communicating Arts Show, the New York Art Directors and Type Directors Shows, and the Society of Illustrators Show.

Debi Belt is a graphic designer/art director with over 35 years in the Cleveland advertising world. She has worked for major Cleveland ad agencies servicing small businesses to Fortune 500 companies with expertise in branding, retail activation, collateral, direct mail and print advertising. Debi also teaches History of Graphic Design, Advertising Design, Corporate Identity and Typography at Lakeland Community College. In addition, she teaches drawing to children in an after school program and has a small design business.

Danielle is currently the Senior Graphic Designer at MOCA Cleveland. Her projects at MOCA and at commercial design firms (in Cleveland & Chicago) have included the conceptualization and design of traditional printed materials, large-format graphics, web pages, and complete identity systems. Danielle is Art Director and Production Manager for the web journal Hotel Bruce. Danielle teaches Graphics for Design.
