ThinkCraft: High School Teacher Programming

In conjunction with ThinkCraft, CIA is pleased to offer special programming to high school educators interested in craft.

2019 Summer Teacher Residency

Each year the Cleveland Institute of Art seeks to bring together a diverse group of art educators who have demonstrated a commitment to making, both in their personal studio and classroom. We create a stimulating and rigorous environment for a period of concentrated artistic creation, interaction and growth.

In conjunction with ThinkCraft, CIA will offer a special residency in the summer of 2019 to high school educators focusing on jewelry and metals, ceramics, and glass. Led by experts in the disciplines, educators will spend ten days in residence in CIA’s studio creating a new body of work, culminating in an exhibition in CIA’s Ann and Norman Roulet Student + Alumni Gallery.

More information will be forthcoming.
