Thomas is the Chair of and Associate Professor in the Biomedical Art Department at CIA as well as Adjunct Professor in Anatomy at Case Western Reserve University. He is the founder and principal illustrator of Novie Studio, which produces accurate and aesthetically clear illustrations and 2D animations for print and digital publication as well as exhibit design for litigation. Thomas received his MFA from the Rochester Institute of Technology in Medical Illustration and is a Board Certified Medical Illustrator (CMI).

Christopher is an adjunct faculty member in Liberal Arts at The Cleveland Institute of Art. He received his Bachelor of Music in 1992 from Ithaca College. In 1995 he earned his Masters degree from The Cleveland Institute of Music in Composition. He was been a Music mentor with the Cleveland Opera and lecturer at The University of Akron and Cleveland State University. Christopher was the co-founder of Composers in the Shape of a Pear and the co-director of the Modern Arts Coalition of Cleveland.

Beth received her BFA and MFA in Medical Illustration from The Cleveland Institute of Art, where she was the first graduate student. As a medical illustrator for over 15 years, she is currently employed by the Cleveland Clinic as a staff medical illustrator. She also serves as an adjunct faculty member teaching medical sculpture at the Cleveland Institute of Art. Beth is an advisory board member to CIA’s Board of Directors.
