All prospective students are encouraged to visit the campus and experience the Institute firsthand.

Campus tours are available Monday-Friday at 10am and 1pm. Saturday tours are available at 10am. Admissions counselors are available Monday-Friday to meet with prospective students and their parents to discuss the Institute’s programs and give preliminary portfolio reviews.

GETTING HERE

From I-90 East and West
take exit #177 to Martin Luther King Jr. Drive. Proceed south through Rockefeller Park for three miles to the traffic light at East 105th Street. Go straight through the light and travel counter-clockwise around the traffic circle to East Boulevard, which runs between the Veterans Administration Hospital and the Natural History Museum. Continue on East Boulevard to The Cleveland Institute of Art.

From I-77 North or I-71 North
take I-90 East to exit #177. Follow the directions for I-90 East and West.

From I-271 North
take Exit #32 to Cedar Road. Bear right onto Cedar Road and proceed west eight miles to a steep hill and traffic light at the intersection with Murray Hill Road. Turn right on Murray Hill Road, bear right at the light, continuing on the red brick road. Turn left on Mayfield Road. Cross Euclid Avenue, where Mayfield becomes Ford Drive.

From Cleveland-Hopkins International Airport
take I-71 North to I-90 East. Follow the directions from I-90 East and West. Or take the RTA Red Line Rapid Transit to University Circle stop. Take a free University Circle LINK bus to the Institute of Art. A taxi from the airport is also and option. It will cost approximately $30.

From downtown Cleveland
follow Chester Avenue east for three miles to University Circle. Turn left on Euclid Avenue. Turn left on East Boulevard.

From the Greyhound or Amtrak Station
we recommend taking a taxi to the Institute, the cost will be approximately $15.

Public Transportation
RTA's Rapid Transit Red Line stops at University Circle. From there University Circle's free Circle LINK bus will take you to The Cleveland Institute of Art on East Boulevard. Also check with RTA on their public bus schedules and stop locations.

Parking
Parking is available at the Botanical Gardens, located across the street from the Institute at 11030 East Blvd.
