Mission:
The Office of Student Life and Housing strives to provide unique opportunities that enhance the collegiate experience. Students learn to excel both in the classroom and beyond through the implementation of programs that foster responsibility and leadership.
Housing:
Taplin, the CIA residence hall, is located on Case Western Reserves Campus. It houses all unmarried, under the age of 21, first-time students at CIA whose permanent residence is outside of Cuyahoga County, are required to live in the residence hall for their first full academic year. The hall consists of single, double and quad rooms, common areas providing space for work on studio assignments, a large main lounge, and laundry rooms.
It is staffed by the full-time Assistant Director of Student Life and Housing and Residence Assistants.
