MISSION

The goals for the Orientation Program are as follows:

  • To gain an understanding of the college mission and vision
  • To make a connection with both student peers, faculty, and staff within your academic school and college-wide
  • To gain an understanding of your rights and responsibilities as a CIA community member
  • To receive exposure to some of the academic and social challenges you may face
  • Students go through a 2 day Orientation process in which they will be given information about the resources available to help assist them into becoming amazing professional artists.
ST.A.R.T. JULY 13 AND 14
Jul 13, 2008 - Jul 14, 2008

Come join CIA staff, faculty, and current students for perhaps your first visit to The Institute. Whether it is your first time here, or you have visited us before, you will not only meet your classmates and have a great time, but also tie up loose ends in order to “St,A.R.T.” your first year on the right foot! The St.A.R.T. Program consists of two-day events held each summer for incoming students. They include informational sessions about class scheduling, financial aid and tuition billing. Incoming students complete a one-hour Liberal Arts academic inventory. Students get their picture taken for their Institute ID card, receive their student e-mail log in and receive a sample class schedule.
