Student Advising Tutoring

  • Tutoring

Tutoring is available free of charge to all CIA students for both academic and studio classes. In addition to course-specific material, students can receive help with study skills, including note taking, term paper preparation, and test-taking strategies.

    Services include:

    • One-on-one peer tutoring by upper-class students
    • Small group reviews
    • Help from the Associate Director

There is also an Academic Writing Center, which students can use on a walk-in basis for assistance with writing and editing term papers. For more on the Writing Center, click here.

Outside services beyond the scope of CIA’s tutoring program, such as disability testing, can be arranged at the student’s expense with the assistance of the Office of Academic Services. For more on Academic Services, click here.
