What’s Next
Now that you’re admitted, it’s time to formally confirm your intent to attend The Cleveland Institute of Art.
- Apply for financial aid: Your education is an investment in your future as an artist—and you’ll get the very best at CIA. Our Office of Financial Aid is committed to helping you finance this premier education through scholarship opportunities, grants, loans, and many other resources.
- Visit our campus: If you haven’t already visited CIA, plan a visit with one of our Admissions Counselors so you can see for yourself what it’s like to live, work, and learn in one of the most vibrant cultural districts in the country. Read more about our neighborhood, University Circle.
- Confirm your attendance: Send in your tuition deposit to hold your place as an incoming student, and your housing deposit to reserve your room in Taplin Hall. Read more about living on campus.
- Sign up for StART: Student Advising, Registration, and Testing (StART) is a summer program open to all first-year and transfer students who have deposited. In addition to composing your writing inventory and taking care of financial business, you’ll meet other CIA students, eat in the dining hall, and stay overnight in Taplin Hall. StART typically takes place in mid or late July.
