CIA is one of a very few independent colleges of art that truly offers a "campus" atmosphere, complete with football, Greek organizations, music from jazz to blues to rock and a college radio station. Our campus is home to more than 30 cultural, educational, medical and social institutions located within a single square mile.

The world renowned Cleveland Museum of Art and the Cleveland Orchestra’s home are a short block away.  Within walking distance are Cleveland Botanical Garden, Crawford Auto and Aviation Museum, Cleveland Natural History Museum and Case Western Reserve University.  The Museum of Contemporary Art Cleveland is located nearby.
